for a birthday with treats and a party hat

A birthday story for your cat or dog

For their birthday, give them a book about the day they were born: an illustrated story with a letter and a song, five little roles drawn for their birthday, a short film to play at the party, and stickers for the family chat.

$34.99 per pet, everything included. A second pet is $16.99.

How the birthday story starts

  • One question: when is their birthday? That is all the story needs.
  • Know the time of day they were born? You can add it, but you don't have to.
  • Not sure of the date? Choose the day they came home, or the day you met, and celebrate that instead.
  • A birthday story also has five little roles, one for each of the five elements, matched to their birthday.

Ideas for the day

Read the story out loud, with the birthday pet on your lap if they allow it. Play the Little Theater film when the candles are out. Send the stickers to everyone who forgot.

Their keepsakes are usually ready within an hour or two, so the morning of the birthday is not too late.

Questions people ask

Are the five elements serious?

No. They are a playful way to picture a pet's character, not a science. Every pet gets all five.

Can I give it for a friend's pet's birthday?

Yes. Give a pet pass and choose the birthday as the day it arrives; they add a photo of their pet and pick the birthday story.

Is it a physical gift?

No, it is all digital, so it can be ready on the day. The story book can be printed at home or at a print shop.

Is it only for cats and dogs?

For now, yes.
