The small print

Short, because there is not much to it. These terms cover kismetpaws.com and its three product sites, which share one account.

What you buy

One purchase covers one pet: the illustrated story book with its letter, song and Little Theater film; one interactive tale; and sixteen animated stickers. Everything is made from the photo you give us and delivered to your account, usually the same day and often within an hour or two. A second pet in the same account is half price.

Your photo

You confirm the photo is yours to use and shows your own pet. We may decline a photo that does not show a real cat or dog clearly, and tell you before anything is made so you can change it. Please do not upload photos of people.

What you may do with the results

They are yours for personal use: print them, share them, send the stickers to anyone. Please do not sell them. We keep no rights to use them in our own marketing.

Refunds

If you are not happy with what was made for your pet, write to [email protected] or send us a message within 14 days of the purchase and we refund it in full, no questions asked. After a refund, online viewing closes: the pet's story, tale and stickers can no longer be opened or made on our sites. Anything you already downloaded is yours to keep. We never nudge you toward a refund inside a product; the choice is always yours.

Codes and credit

A creator's code or a friend's referral code takes a fixed amount off the first pet; codes do not stack and are not for the second pet, which is already half price. When a friend buys with your code you receive $10 of account credit. Credit is spent on your next pet and is never paid out in money.

Gifts

A gift is a pet pass: one pet's story book and film, interactive tale and stickers, for the person you give it to. It costs $34.99 whoever buys it; codes and account credit cannot be used on it, and it earns no referral credit. The gift link works for whoever opens it first and signs in; from then on the pass belongs to that account. Before it is unwrapped you can make a new link (the old one stops working) or ask for a full refund, which closes the link. Once it is unwrapped, the normal refund rule above applies: a full refund closes the pet made with it, just like any refunded pet. Refunds always go back to the person who paid. A gift does not expire and cannot be exchanged for cash.

A pet pass from a code works the same way once it is in your account. Holding a pass, or having bought a pet before, makes every further pet in your account $16.99.

Payment

Payments are handled by Whop; your card details never reach us. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.

Changes and problems

We may change these terms; the date below tells you when. If something goes wrong on our side — a product cannot be made for your pet — we fix it or refund it. Our liability is limited to what you paid.
