What is in the book

  • A story about one day: the day they came home, the day you met, or their birthday.
  • Four chapters or more, each opening on a small, real moment with your pet, from the habits you tell us.
  • A letter from your pet, and their own piece of music.
  • A short Little Theater film: five scenes, about two minutes, your pet as a paper puppet with a voice and lines of its own.
  • For a birthday, five little roles drawn as your pet, one for each of the five elements.

Read it, print it, keep it

Read it on screen, or save it as a PDF sized for your phone, or as an A4 PDF with every gift page, ready to print at home or at a print shop. The film downloads as a tall MP4 for phones, with the lines written underneath.

For a pet who has passed away, the book is written in remembrance, in the past tense and with their name.

The photo matters more than the story

A close photo where your pet fills the frame, face clear, in daylight, gives the best likeness. When a pet is small in the picture, we crop to it before drawing, and we tell you if a closer photo would help.

The chapters are built from what you tell us: where they sleep, what they steal, how they greet you. A few specific habits make a book that could only be about your pet.

No. It is written for you, the person who knows the pet, though it is gentle enough to read aloud to anyone.

Can it be about two pets?

Each book is about one pet. A second pet gets its own book, tale and stickers for $16.99.

Is it a printed book?

It arrives digitally, so it can be ready the same day. The A4 PDF is laid out to print at home or at a print shop.

What if I don't know their birthday?
