A story about the day they came home, the day you met, or their birthday, illustrated with the pet as a paper puppet. It prints as a book, comes with a letter and a song, and plays as a short Little Theater film.

A small animal sets out to find its person, and it is their pet in every picture. Draw a card to open it, then read on a phone, tap and listen.

Giving it

  • A pet pass in a paper envelope, with your note.
  • We e-mail it on the day you choose, at 9 in the morning your time. Or print a card with a QR code and hand it over.
  • Your friend adds one photo of their own pet. The rest is made for them, usually within an hour or two.
  • It never expires, and it can be refunded until it is unwrapped.

Why one photo is enough

We find the pet in the photo, crop to it, and draw it in a picture-book style, with its own colors and markings. Cats and dogs are drawn a little differently, each in the style that suits them.

If a photo will not work, we say so before anything is made, and another one can be added. One pet in the picture, face visible, in daylight works best.

Is it a physical gift?

No, it is all digital, so it can arrive the same day, anywhere. The story book is made to be printed at home or at a print shop; the film and the stickers save to a phone.

Do I need a photo of their pet?

No. With a pet pass, your friend adds a photo of their own pet when they unwrap it.

Is it only for cats and dogs?

For now, yes.
