Cookies, every one of them

A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser. These are all the ones used on kismetpaws.com and its three product sites (story, tales and stickers): what each is for, and how long it stays.

Needed for the site to work

These are never used for ads, so we don't ask about them.

NameWhat it doesHow long
kp_sessionKeeps you signed in, with one account across all four sites.30 days
kp_adsRemembers your answer about ad cookies, so we don't ask again.6 months
__cf_bmSet now and then by Cloudflare, which delivers our pages, to tell people from bots.30 minutes

Your browser also keeps a few small things for us that are not cookies and never leave your device: a referral code you arrived with (until you check out), whether you turned the sound off on the story and tales sites, and the link to a free sticker preview you made.

Ad cookies, only if you allow them

We find most of our customers through ads on Instagram and Facebook. Meta's cookie tells us which ads brought people here, so we stop paying for the ones that don't work.

NameWhat it doesHow long
_fbpMeta's cookie: lets Meta see that a visit came after one of our ads.90 days
_fbcMeta's cookie, set only when you arrive by clicking one of our ads.90 days

When you buy, or leave your e-mail for a free preview, our server also tells Meta, so the ad is counted even if your browser blocks the cookie. Meta gets your e-mail address only as a scrambled code (a SHA-256 hash), never in plain text, and this happens only when ad cookies are allowed for you.

We don't use any other trackers or analytics, and we never sell your information.

Checking…

You can change it here at any time, from "Cookie choices" at the bottom of every page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.

Paying

Checkout happens on Whop's own page (whop.com), which uses its own cookies to process the payment safely, under Whop's own privacy policy.
